Dr. Garry D. Pate, Lead Pastor

As of August 21st, Pastor Garry has begun his new position as District Superintendent for Southwest Indiana.  We wish Pastor Garry and Carolyn the best!

Carlos  Lonberger, Associate Pastor

Pastor Carlos is a graduate of Olivet Nazarene University and joined the staff at Christ’s Community in the fall of 2007 with the primary responsibility of caring for the worship/ music ministries.  For Pastor Carlos the highest goal for worship in the church is not about any one specific style, but to lead the children of God to the throne of God, so that we might encounter the living God in a very real way.  Pastor Carlos is married to Kristen and together they have four wonderful young boys; Camden, Colson, Caiden, and Christian.

Steve Nokes, Youth Pastor/Properties Manager

Mr. Steve has been serving in ministry at Christ’s Community for many more years than he’s actually been on staff.  Officially, Steve has been caring for the Christ’s Community properties, facilities, and youth for going on nine years.  Beyond all else, Steve wants the youth of this community to encounter and know the living God before they face the, often times, unforgiving world after high school.  Steve is married to Linda and has two children, Kris and Jennifer.

Ms. Wanda Phillips, Children’s Director

Ms. Wanda has been guiding the Christian development of children on staff for three years here at Christ's Community.  Ms. Wanda’s heart for children is as big as it gets, and her greatest desire is that children would come to know Jesus and His love at a young age.  Ms. Wanda is married to Ron and together they have two sons, Jason and Jeff, and three grandchildren.

Tim Vanhoose, Assistant Pastor

Tim Vanhoose was a pastor on the Southwest Indiana District for several years before coming to Christ’s Community.  Tim has an amazing passion to see the people of God live in the fullness of God’s will and is primarily responsible for our satellite service at Providence Village.  Tim is married to Terri, with three children.

Gloria Adkins, Church Office Administrator

Gloria is the newest member of our staff here at Christ's Community. After 18yrs at Grantline Elementary School Gloria joins us to manage our church office.  Gloria loves her two dogs, Lucy and Lilly, and riding her bike.  She is married to Greg and they have two daughters and a son-in-law, Melissa, Monica, and Adam.
